Arrange a convenient time for the school principal and /or faculty
representative to meet with the business/organization partner
representative. |

Examine current strategies, identify resources,
and set goals and objectives based on assessment of current needs and
available resources. Develop short-term and long-range goals that combine
resources to achieve mutually beneficial objectives that
reflect the goals of improving student achievement and fostering lifelong
learning. |

Plan appropriate and obtainable action plans to
meet these objectives.
Determine a time frame. |

Step 4 |
Provide an orientation program with the faculty
to share information, plans, and expectations. |

Step 5 |
Arrange for periodic meetings of business
coordinators, principals, and faculty
representatives to discuss progress and revised needs and to provide
effective
leadership and management of the partnership. |

Step 6 |
Recognize participants, both partners, through
ceremonies, awards, certificates,
publicity, media, and other appropriate activities. |

Step 7 |
Evaluate the program on a school level and on a
district level annually. |
