Data numerical information used as basis for decision-making. Examples:  test scores, financial indicators, employee satisfaction levels.
Alignment common understanding of purpose, goals, and measures; plans, processes, actions, information, and decisions consistent among the district's schools and departments.
Example: Consistency between and measurement of state standards, district strategic plan, school improvement plans, and classroom action plans
Plan Deployment putting the plan into action
Customers Individuals and/or groups who receive or use a product or service of the district.
Internal Customers- people in the district such as students, teachers, school and district administrators, departments, support staff.
External Customers- post secondary schools, employers, community.
Suppliers provide resources, materials, services, and products the district needs to do its job well.
Internal Supplier Examples- central office departments such as purchasing, data processing, curriculum and instruction.
External Supplier Examples- parents, community.
Stakeholders groups and/or individuals who have a vested interest in the ability of the school district to meet or exceed customer satisfaction (Examples: students, parents, schools, district employees, community, employers)
