Welcome to the Calcasieu Parish School System Department of Transportation. We are here to service the needs of the public in the safe and appropriate transportation of students and faculty of the Calcasieu Parish School System. Our office is located at 3310 Broad Street and Interstate 210.

New Pictures in the Media Section

Go to the media section to see new pictures submitted by Karen Bryant of the March 2008 driver's class. There are also pictures of the August 6 Bus In-Service.

Two New Technologies at Transportation

Both of these new online software applications can be accessed under the "Services" section of the Transportation website. You must be on a Calcasieu Parish School System computer to access either of them. Sorry, they will not work from home.

Online Field Trip Application
	The online field trip application is where teachers will go to request field trips. No more forms and weeks to process requests. If a teacher makes a request for a field trip they should know in two days whether it was approved or not instead of two weeks.
Web Query
	Web query allows teachers, school staff and students to find their bus driver based on their individual addresses. It is not one hundred percent accurate right now but should be by the 2009-2010 school year. It is only a help at this time.
