Co-Presenter(s):
DeWayne  LaCaze, Region VI AT Center
Description:  Use games to teach? In this session, participants will learn various ways to use low tech and high tech games to support curriculum concepts and extended standards. Everyday board games can be adapted to be accessed by students and can be customized to introduce educational concepts or remediation activities to promote student success. Games provide movement and critical thinking skills that are essential to the learning process. The competitive nature of games help students to motivate each other, thus the activity becomes a collaborative learning process. We challenge you to think outside the box and get your game on!
