  • Dr. Seuss Week

    During the week of March 9-13, our school will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday! Our focus is to READ, READ, READ! Readers are Leaders! Mark your calendar for the events to celebrate Dr. Seuss! Monday--Kid in the Hat Day--students may wear a crazy hat to school. Tuesday--Character Dress Up Day--Dress up as your favorite book character. Wednesday--Red and White Day--Wear read or white shirts to show Seuss pride. Thursday--Fox in Socks Day--Roll up your pants and show off your cool socks. Friday--Chilling with Reading--Snow Cones will be available for purchase for $2, $3, $4, and $5 with proceeds going towards the AR Carnival.

  • State Testing--Performance Based Assessment Schedule

    March 16th—20th has been set aside for this year’s Performance Based Assessment in Grades 3-5. It is imperative that your child be in attendance this week, so we as that you please schedule all doctor/dentist appointments around this week of testing.

  • Pre-K & Kindergarten Registration

    February 23rd-27th are the tentative dates for our annual Pre-K and Kindergarten Round-up for the 2015-2016 school year. Please remember to bring original birth certificate, social security card, current shot record, and two (2) utility bills showing proof of address. For Pre-K, you must provide verification of income.

  • Picture Day

    We will take our Spring Pictures on Friday, February 20th. Free dress is allowed on this day. A picture proof and packet will be sent home at a later date for you to purchase a picture packet if you desire.

  • Valentine - Mardi Gras - Louisiana Theme Tops Day

    Students will be allowed to wear Valentine/Mardi Gras/Louisiana themed tops with uniform bottoms on Friday, February 13th.

  • Spaghetti Dinner

    We are having a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to raise needed funds for our school technology account. On Feb. 9th, a letter and tickets will be sent home with your child. The fundraiser will end on Feb. 27th. Lunches will be ready for pick up on Thursday, March 5th. WE will be asking for parent volunteers to help make this a success! Many thanks to those that will be able to help us this year!

  • Rodeo Dress Day

    YEEHAW!!! This Friday, February 6th, will be "Rodeo Dress Up Day" for students. Please make sure that student attire meets all dress code standards. Boots and hats are welcome, but spurs are not allowed.

  • Changes to Student Progress Center

    Parents: There have been some changes made to the CPSB Student Progress Center. Please remember that SPC works best in Google Chrome. If you try to access the Student Progress Center from the CPSB website (through the A+ button), you will need to refresh your browser before it will load properly.

  • D.A.R.E Graduation

    CPSO will have D.A.R.E graduation for 5th grade students on January 30th at 9:00 am. 5th grade students will be allowed to wear blue jeans with their D.A.R.E shirts on this day.

    The Science/Social Studies Fair will be held on January 21, 2015. Set up will be January 20th from 6:00--7:00 in the cafeteria.

    MBE is proud to announce the start of our Student Council organization. Through this club, students will learn about leadership and representation of the student body. It is our hope that Student Council helps our student to “have a voice” in activities/incentives we offer at MBE.   • Pennies for Patients

    We will be collecting Pennies for Patients January 5th--23rd. All proceeds will help support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A box will be set on the front counter in the office for students to put their change in.

    The Penguin Patch Holiday Shoppe will be open December 15, 16, & 17th for our students to shop for their families. Items are priced from $.25 to $10.

  • Student Led Conferences

    All MBE parents are invited to attend our annual Student Led Conferences on Tuesday, December 9th. K--2 student led conferences will run from 5:30-6:30 and 3--5 student led conferences will run from 6:00-7:00.
