GLE's and Guiding Questions For Paper Bag Princess Activity
For all Levels-
Click to listen to
the story,
The Paper Bag Princess. On the
Calcasieu Parish Library Website, click on Tumble Books
and locate The Paper Bag Princess, using the tumble search at
the bottom of the page.
Level One:
Follow the directions listed below.
1. After listening to the story, using the
Kidspiration Template,
put the story in order (beginning, middle, and end) by dragging
dropping them in the correct place. Click on the “listen” button for
assistance reading the story parts.
2. Go to the “writing” view and print a copy.
(If the students have problems with
sequencing the story, the outline view can be cut apart for the
students to practice placing the story in order.) This
can also serve as an assessment.
Level Two:
After listening to the story, use the Kidspiration
Story Elements Level 2 Template
provided to identify elements of
the story. Go to “writing” view and print a copy.
Level Three:
After listening to the story, use the
Story Elements Level 3 Template
provided to identify elements of
the story. Go to the”writing” view and print a copy.
Middle and High School
GLEs for Character Analysis ("The Bet")
1. Read
the short story,
The Bet"
2 . Open Inspiration Template on
Character Analysis.
3. Choose one of the two main characters and complete the Character
Web in Inspiration.
4. Print your web.
5. Discuss your Character Webs within your group
