There
are many Quality Tools and Techniques that can be used in the classroom or
the school. The objective of this
slideshow is to familiarize you with the use of these tools and techniques.
For each tool, we will explain what the tool is and tell you when and how to
use it. For many of the tools, we will
discuss what to do with the information gathered with the tool. Examples will be included with the handout
material.

|
An
important aspect to remember is that these tools and techniques need to be
part of the systematic approach to improving quality in education. If just a few of these tools and techniques
are used, you will see some short-term successes, but it will be hard to
sustain.

These
tools and techniques support the Baldrige framework for continual improvement
in the school system.
