Overview
Students will listen to Five little monkeys jumping on bed. They will read another book of Five little something. They will compare and contrast the stories. They will also create another Five little... story. They will share their stories by beaming them to other groups.

• Students will compare and contrast two “Five little….” stories. • Students will write their own “Five little….” Story. • Students will share stories by beaming.
Procedures
Procedures: 1. Collect story books that are based on the poem “Five little monkeys” 2. The teacher will beam the students a document explaining what the students are to do in their cooperative groups. 3. The teacher will beam to students an inspiration web to complete in the group. 4. The students will listen as the teacher reads the story “Five little monkeys jumping on the bed.” 5. The students will have another “Five little ….” book that they will read together. 6. The students will open the web and compare and contrast the two stories. 7. The students will write what they liked best about the story they read in their group and why. 8. The students will then write a new “Five little….” Story. 9. The students could then illustrate their story in Sketchy. 10. The students will beam their products to other students.
