All library books are due on Friday, April 29 regardless of the date on the back of your book. Also, all late fees need to be paid by Friday, April 29. This change has been made due to EOC testing taking place in the library in May.
Teacher Appreciation Week will be here soon. We would love to have lots of goodies on hand for our teachers. If you would like to bring a food item that fits one of the daily themes, you are encouraged to do so. Monday- Cajun Day, Tuesday - Appetizers and Finger Foods, Wednesday - Mexican or Italian, Thursday - Fruits and Veggies, Friday - Sweets and Treats
Students eligible to attend the PBIS field trip to Cinemark Theatre to watch Captain America on Friday May 6th, may pick up a permission slip in the business office. There are eligibility lists posted around campus on ORANGE paper. You may drop off a signed permission slip to the student workers in the Foyer by the front office starting MONDAY April 18th. We will only collect permission slips thru April 29th AND ONLY DURING BOTH LUNCHES. No late permission slips will be accepted.
April is Autism Awareness Month, and the Beta Club is collecting paper towels and toliet paper to help Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana. Please drop off your donations to the front office on he 9th grade campus and to Mrs. McFarlain on the main campus by April 29. All students are encouraged to participate.
Lady Tor Soccer Tryouts will be held May 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th from 3:30PM-5:30PM behind the 9th grade campus. Returners need to have an updated Physical, New players need to have a physical and Insurance Statement form completed. All forms can be picked up in the front office
HomeworkLouisiana offers FREE online tutoring and academic resources from Tutor.com for Louisiana residents from kindergarten students through adult learners. A link to HomeworkLa is available by clicking on the Student tab above. Get help in math, science, social studies or English from a live tutor. The services can be accessed from a Louisiana public library, from your home computer or from your mobile device. The live homework help is available Sunday-Thursday from 2pm-10pm.
All unsold suckers and money are due on Friday, April 29 to Mrs. White. The Beta Club will have its last meeting and end of the year get together at the Grove at 6pm on Tuesday, May 3. For more information stop by the library on the 9th grade campus or outside Mrs. McFarlain’s room. Members are asked to bring in 12 packs of soft drinks or paper goods, like plates, napkins, cups, and plastic ware for Teacher Appreciation Week. Please bring your items by Monday, May 2.
