The purpose of this site is to provide online professional development in the area of gifted education and to encourage professional dialogue and the exchange of ideas between teachers. Louisiana has approximately 27,000 students identified as gifted and talented, and these students are served by over 1,000 teachers.

This program is affiliated with the Duke University's Talent Identification Program (TIP) for gifted students.  They accept students 12-17 years of age for their three-week residential program.
