RELATIONS WITH POLICE AUTHORITIES

It is the policy of the School Board to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in the interest of the larger welfare of all citizens. At the same time, schools have the responsibility to parents for the welfare of the students while they are in the care of the school.

RELATIONS WITH ARMED FORCES/MILITARY AGENCIES

The Calcasieu Parish School Board shall allow military recruiters the same access to secondary students as offered to postsecondary institutions and prospective employers. Military recruiters shall also have access to names, addresses and phone numbers of secondary students except in the case of a student whose parent has requested the information not be released.
