  • Homecoming 2023--Tigers Got the Beat

    Thursday, October 12

    Presentation and Community Pep Rally 6:30 p.m. at the G. Dalton Faircloth Football Stadium

    Friday, October 13

    Parade: 3 p.m. Line up begins at the high school at 2 p.m.

    Game: 7 p.m. The Homecoming Court will be presented at halftime.

    Saturday, October 14

    Homecoming Dance/Social: The Homecoming Dance will be held at DeQuincy High from 7-10 p.m. and is for DeQuincy High students only. Registration fees must be paid to attend the Homecoming Dance.

    Homecoming Dress Up Days

    • Monday: Teacher Inservice
    • Tuesday: Should’ve Been a Cowboy
    • Wednesday: Barbie World
    • Thursday: Thrift Shop
    • Friday: Eye of the Tiger

    School dress code applies (no holes in jeans; make sure all skirts/shorts are appropriate length) 

    Homecoming Parade Registration

    Registration is currently open for the 2023 DeQuincy High Homecoming Parade. The theme is "Tigers Got the Beat." To register, visit https://forms.office.com/r/3a3xd1E0Jr. You may also download the Registration Form and return it to the school office.

    Entry Fee

    • Cars: $20
    • Floats: $40

    Payment Options

    • Online payment; if you do not have a student ID number, enter 00000.
    • Drop off payment in the DeQuincy High office.
    • Mail a check to DeQuincy High School, C/O Homecoming Parade, 207 N. Overton Street, DeQuincy, LA 70633.

    Online Tutoring

    Calcasieu Parish School Board has partnered with TutorMe to provide free online tutoring in over 300 subjects for all students in grades 7 through 12. TutorMe can be accessed at any time through a student's LaunchPad portal.
