  • MSU Observers - Welcome to Dolby!

Included here is a list of teachers who are willing to have observers in their classrooms. You must email the teachers before beginning your observations and schedule with them what days/times/subjects you will be observing. This will ensure that you observe what you need and that the teachers are aware of your visit. You will need to bring a print out of the email verifying that you have made these arrangements with the teachers before being allowed into the classrooms. These are necessary steps to ensure the safety of our students and staff while maximizing instructional time. Thank you for choosing Dolby Elementary for your pre-service observations! (Click the link for the list of teachers and their email addresses.)

A Leader in Me School.... Today's changing world has a whole new set of rules. The Leader in Me gives children the tools to develop essential life skills and characteristics they will need for success in the 21st century. The Leader in Me process also helps to create a common language within a school, built on proven principle-based leadership skills found in Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s best-selling book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Habit 1: Be Proactive® • You're in Charge Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind® • Have a Plan Habit 3: Put First Things First® • Work First, Then Play Habit 4: Think Win-Win® • Everyone Can Win Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood® • Listen Before You Talk Habit 6: Synergize® • Together Is Better Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw® • Balance Feels Best
