Upward Bound Selection is based upon GPA, income requirements, and whether the student will be a first-generation college student (neither parent has a 4-year degree). This program is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Funding serves up to 72 students. Students remain in the program until they graduate from high school. As of today, March 26, all students working on Odysseyware for recovery courses should stop. The district has made the determination that NO grades will be accumulated during this time period or earned, accept those who are dual enrolled at McNeese, Sowela, or ABC school. More information will come in next few weeks to explain quality points toward courses for seniors. To those students who continued to work this last week, please do not look at it as a waste of time, but as an "investment" for your future post secondary option.
