We would also like to take this wonderful opportunity to highlight and announce last week's Elementary Department of Special Service’s All Star Teacher of the Week. Congratulations Oak Park Elementary SPED Teacher, Ms. Holly Boudreaux. Ms. Boudreaux has been teaching for a total of 4 years. She has been in her current SPED position for the last 2 years. Ms. Boudreaux shared with us that what is most challenging about her job is stepping back to let her students figure out things on their own. Ms. Boudreaux expressed that all students can learn and succeed if you give them the tools needed, believe in them, and love them as they are. Ms. Priscilla M. Bellard has been in education for a total of 18 years. She has been in her current position as a Para-Professional at Oak Park Elementary for the last 15 years. Ms. Bellard expressed that what she enjoys most about her position is helping her assigned students achieve and reach their full potential. She also shared with us that it is very important to believe in all your students and help them believe in themselves. Ms. Bellard stated that when she is not working she enjoys spending time with her two grandsons; the loves of her life. Congratulations, Ms. Priscilla M. Bellard!
