        Rember that adverbs are modifiers. Adverbs anwer the questions. When? How? Where? To what extent?

    3. Thesis Statements--p. 49-53 in your writing section. You will have to start writing active thesis statements. 

    4. Writing Exam scheduled for Wednesday 9-15. It will start with the writing terminology and end with topic sentences. All of this can be found in the notes in your booklet.

    • WRITING FOR ASSESSMENT TAKE OUT PG. 10 FROM YOUR GUIDEBOOK. PAPER TO TAKE NOTES FROM THE VIDEO

    • Write a well-developed persuasive, cause/effect, argumentive, or  exemplification essay: Requirements 
    • 400-600 words. Do not count the words “a, an, the”, do not use “a lot” or “very”.
