McNeese State University
College Prep at MSU
- Degreee Paths: Any degree in the MSu catalog including pre-professional degrees
- Students who participate can expect to earn 24-30 college credit hours directly aligned to their college degree plan. Unpon the successful completion of the program, students will be considered a sophomore in college
- College courese wil be used to complete high school graduation requirements
- Price is $60 per credit hour plus books. 12 hours (4 classes) will be $720. 15 hours (5 classes) wil be $900. Payment plans are available
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- ACT score of 18 in English AND 19 Math. GPA of 2.75. 19 Composite ACT
Sowela Technical Community College
Senior Technical Education Program at Sowela (STEPS)
- Degree Paths: General Studies Transfer Degree, Welding, Process Technology, Instrumentation, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Culinary, Computer Technology, Graphic Art, Drafting and other programs in the SOWELA Catalog
- Students who participate can expect to earn 24-30 college credit hours. These credit hours will apply to their Technical, Associates or Bachelors degree and fulfill any remaining high school graduation requirements. Most classes will transfer to other colleges.
- Price is estimated at $300 per semester for Technical/Associate Students and $540 per semester for Transfer Students plus books
