Keynote for iPad Presentations

Apple's Keynote presentation tool is free for iPads and includes dazzling themes and show-stopping animations. Teachers and students can create world-class presentations or storyboards. Keynote is easy to use for all levels of learners, and it allows students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of content with ease and creativity.

Other features of Keynote include the ability to present and share on other iPads. The collaboration features provide students with the ability to work with a partner or group in real-time. Once a presentation is created, it can be exported as a PDF, PowerPoint, animated GIF, movie file, among other file formats. Visit the App Store Preview for Keynote to learn more.

Popplet for Mind-Mapping

Popplet, a mind-mapping tool to encourage thinking while promoting visual learning, is available on the web as well as a free app from the Apple App Store. For those students with handwriting concerns, providing an electronic method to express their thoughts could really make a big difference in their responses. Students can add images and/or type text into the popples. Learn more at popplet.com.
