First Financial 2020-2021 Group Benefits Book

Update to CPSB’s Annual Open Enrollment:

    • This Open Enrollment is for CPSB's health, dental, group life, voluntary life and AD&D as well as First Financial products (ex. STD, HSA, FSA, cancer, etc.)
    • EVERY full time employee must complete this open enrollment:
      • If the employee is currently enrolled in CPSB's health insurance, they will be asked if they want to make any changes.  This is considered their "re-enrollment".  If they do not re-enroll, they will lose coverage.
      • If the employee is not currently enrolled in CPSB's health insurance, they will be offered coverage.  If they do not want the health insurance, they will be asked to waive coverage.
    • This is a one-time open enrollment for CPSB's group life and voluntary life insurance plans up to $50,000 of coverage, without evidence of insurability. (i.e. no health questions)
    • The account managers will verify all dependents regardless if they are covered on CPSB's health or life insurance:
      • If the employee is currently enrolled in CPSB's life insurance, they will be asked if they want to add dependent coverage which is FREE.  They will also be asked to update their beneficiary information.
      • If the employee is not currently enrolled in CPSB's life insurance, they will be asked if they want to enroll themselves and dependents.  If they do not want the life insurance they will be asked to waive coverage.

    Employees:

    • It will remain an “active enrollment” which means every employee currently in the plan must re-enroll or they will be dropped.
    • First Financial (FF) is enrolling employees in both CPSB and First Financial products.
    • FF is processing waivers for those employees that do not wish to enroll.
    • EVERY full-time employee must go through the Open Enrollment process.
    • Fwill launch their call center (“phone tree”) on Monday, March 23.
    • Please click here for the final FF schedule. Some dates are different from the original schedule, but these changes are necessary to accommodate all sites.
