Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Jenny Antilla
I have been teaching since January 2000! I began my journey when I graduated from Bayou Chicot High School in 1993. I went on to LSUE (Louisiana State University at Eunice) and then transferred to McNeese State University, where I received my Bachelors of Science in December of 1999. I began my teaching career at Zachary High School, which used to be a part of East Baton Rouge Parish school system, but is now it's own district. In addition, I have taught in Evangeline, West Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, St. Landry, Iberville, Lafayette, and Calcasieu parishes. I have also taught at False River Academy (a private school in Pointe Coupee parish) and STARBASE (a Department of Defense Youth Program).
Besides my career, I have a wonderful husband from Boston, Mass. I have five children, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. I also have students, who will ALWAYS be my children. Family, in my opinion, is not about genetics. It's about the people who become your family. Just like love, my family continues to grow with each passing year. If you are reading this, welcome to the family!!
