Hi there and welcome back to another fantastic year at BCHS!

My name is Sydney Hooper. I graduated from McNeese State University in 2017 with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I am also continuing my education and working to become special education certified. This will be my 5^th year teaching. I previously taught 3^rd and 4^th grade at Oak Park Elementary before coming to BCHS. I love my job and cannot imagine doing anything else.

I have a 2-year-old son named Tyson and a dog named Cane & a cat named Lilly. When I am out of the classroom I enjoy being outside with Tyson, cooking, visiting with family & friends, and watching movies on Netflix or Hulu.
