My name is Jon’ Christian Ward and I am 27 years old.  I am from Houma, LA but live in Lake Charles.  I graduated from McNeese State University with a B.S. in Mass Communication.  However, teaching has always been my passion. I plan to obtain my Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction.  I am currently a 4^th grade teacher at Brentwood Elementary School.  I teach ELA and Science.  When I am not educating future leaders I continue my passion of music by dj’ing in the Lake Charles area.  Some other hobbies that I enjoy include fishing and traveling.  A dream of mine is to travel to foreign locations across the world and experience different cultures.
