Currently I am a 3rd grade teacher at Fairview Elementary. I began my teaching career in 2015 after receiving my B.S.. in Health and Human Performance (2009) then my Alternate Teaching Certification in Elementary Education (2017) at McNeese State University. I love to see my students flourish in the classroom, that moment when everything clicks and you see that light turn on in their eyes. 

I am also a mom to a very rambunctious little boy who loves to hunt for turtles and frogs. He loves that his mom is a teacher, he often says " Why can't your school teacher mode turn off when we get home MOM!"
