Born and raised right down the road in Kinder, I've always been a Yellowjacket.  After graduating high school in 2008, I attended McNeese State University.  While at working on my Bachelor of Science in Finance, I always felt a pull toward education, but never made the switch.  Years after graduating from college, that pull was still there.  In 2019 I was lucky enough for that pull to lead me to Iowa High.  I have taught 8th grade English ever since.  Outside of school, I enjoy being with my two daughters, Landry and Collins.
