Mrs. Simon has been in the education field for 10 years and at Maplewood Elementary School for the past 9. She graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelors of General Studies Degree and a Masters of Arts in Teaching.  Mrs. Simon is a current Connected Classrooms teacher with a certification to teach grades 1-5, an I-TEC model classroom, Drew Grant Recipient, and 2018-2019 Showcase teacher. She has taught grades Pre-K to 5th along with resource and autism classrooms.
