Business Education with 30+ hours in Mathematics Mathematics Content Leader for State of Louisiana Softball Coach
Ashley Adams knows that mathematics requires practice and does not come easy to all. She first started teaching in 2010 but started at Moss Bluff Middle School in 2014. Through her years teaching, Ms. Adams has taught all things mathematics from the 6th grade level all the way up to the 12th grade level, as well as Intro to Business Computer Applications (IBCA). So far, her favorite content to teach is Algebra but has a passion for middle school age children. She has a strong aspiration for all her students to have confidence, dedication, determination, and discipline in mathematics but also in life as well. Ms. Adams was a 2010 graduate from McNeese State University where she majored in Business Education with 30+ hours in Mathematics deeming her highly effective in mathematics. In 2019, she was certified by the State of Louisiana as a Mathematics Content Leader to help mold and mentor other mathematics teachers. Outside of her teaching duties, she is the coach of Moss Bluff Middle School’s Softball team where she currently holds three State Championship Titles. At the end of every year, it saddens Ms. Adams to watch her students leave her classroom but holds an enormous amount of pride and faith in their future. This makes each new year exciting knowing she will have the honor to help mold future students and players alike.
