Welcome to Moss Bluff Middle School!

I am Kailyn Bravo. I graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Literature in the Spring of 2018. I am certified to teach all content areas 1- 5 and certified to teach English 1-12 for the state of Louisiana. I have been a teacher for 7 years. I taught third and fifth grade at Kaufman Elementary, four years in Seventh Grade ELA at F.K. White Middle School. Now, I am teaching Sixth grade ELA at Moss Bluff Middle School.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, and painting. I read about 4 books per week. I always have my nose in a book and I love sharing what I'm reading with my students! I play Dungeons and Dragons every week, and I love online gaming with my friends; Skyrim is my favorite game. I love to run and play soccer. I also referee soccer for the state of Louisiana. I married my husband, Paul, 5 years ago and we welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world on our second anniversary. Together, my husband and I love to travel. I have visited 35 states and 11 different countries. 

My favorite subjects in school were science and history, so I love to incorporate them into my lessons on a daily basis!

I cannot wait to meet you! I am so excited to be back at school and sharing some of my favorite books with you! Let's make the 2023-2024 school year the best it can possibly be! Stay positive! Go Broncos!
