Hope Berry

Hope Berry is a master teacher with 20 years experience as an Agriscience teacher at Bell City High School, who has entered the counseling role here at Iowa High School with a desire to help our students discover their learning styles, guide them to future careers and assist them in their journey of self-discovery and confidence as they navigate these formative years.

As a former career and technical education teacher, she always strives to find her student’s strengths so that they will become valuable contributors to society.  In Johnathon Mooney’s keynote speech at the 2015 Groves Gala, his statement “Differences are not deficiencies” and “every human being has a strength you can find and build a life on”, resonates with her and the temperament she sets in her classroom.

Hope is certified in Agriscience, General Science, School Counseling and was awarded Calcasieu High School Teacher of the year in 2018-2019.

Hope holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from McNeese, a Master of Science in Human Resource & Workforce Development from LSU, and a Plus 30 in School counseling from Northwestern.
