Webinars are facilitated through a Teams Meeting. Registrants are contacted prior to the meeting with instructions for joining and are added to the Outlook event which includes the link to join the webinar when scheduled. Participants are encouraged to use the Teams app when joining, and are expected to be attentive and actively engaged in order to earn CLUs and Tech Points.
CPSB teachers can register and participate in Tech Classes facilitated by the CPSB Technology Training Center for educational technology professional development to support teaching and learning in their classrooms. Through participation, teachers earn Tech Points which can be traded in for classroom technology at the Tech Points Store.

Ten Things for Teachers to Try in 2023 | Wednesday, January 18th at 3:30PM-4:30PM
Let’s kick off the new year with some great teaching ideas! It’s that time of year, a time to renew and refresh. This webinar will showcase ten things that you may want to try in Canvas, with BBComms, on your Teacher Website, on the iPad, and with Microsoft Tools (Teams, OneDrive, Forms, PowerPoint and OneNote).

Digging into Discovery Education | Tuesday, January 24th at 3:30PM-4:30PM
If you are only using Discovery Education to show videos that correlate to your curriculum, now is the time to start digging into DE to see what else is available. The following channels and topics will be covered: Louisiana Curriculum Alignment Guides, SOS Instructional Strategies, Vooks, Cram Jams, Sesame Learning, Virtual Field Trips, Live Quizzes, and Studio boards as a student creation tool.

Hype Up Your Canvas Home Page | Tuesday, February 28th at 3:30PM-4:30PM
Want to update your Canvas Home Page, but don't feel confident in Canva? The Canvas Icon Maker is the tool you need! The Canvas Icon Maker will help you effortlessly create buttons for your Home Page directly within the Canvas Rich Content Editor. Join us for this webinar where you will learn how to use the Icon Maker and have time to build your Home Page buttons.

Wakelet in the Classroom | Wednesday, March 15th at 3:30PM-4:30PM
Learn how Wakelet (think Pinterest for the classroom!) can be used as a digital curation tool. Teachers can use it to organize resources and create learning paths for students and also provide for collaborative student activities.

Microsoft Whiteboard (HD) | Thursday, March 30th at 3:30PM-4:30PM
Do you want to boost engagement and collaboration in the classroom? This webinar will focus on the features within the Microsoft Whiteboard and share ways to utilize this tool to increase student engagement and collaboration in the classroom.

Teacher TLC - Tech Lessons for Self-Care | Thursday, April 20th at 3:30PM-4:30PM
Looking for ways to better balance your personal and work lives? These tech lessons for care focus on four areas:
establishing reasonable boundaries between work and home; fostering and promoting digital positivity; using tech features to your workday advantage; and proactively minimizing email and questions about what is happening in your classroom.

Microsoft Reflect: SEL in Teams & Class Notebook | Tuesday, April 25th at 3:30PM-4:30PM
Help broaden learners' emotional vocabulary and help students build self-awareness using Reflect Check-ins. Challenge your students to reflect on their learning by easily inserting a Reflect for learning poll that is contextualized directly in your Class Notebook or from the tab in Teams. Join this webinar to explore the features of Reflect and meet the Feelings Monsters.
