Textbook Adoptions
The following textbooks and/or materials have been reviewed by Textbook Adoption Committees and are on display in the Lobby of the Calcasieu Parish School Board. The public may view and provide input regarding the adoption of the textbooks/materials. Lobby hours are from 8:00 a.m. until Noon and from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. These materials will be available for public input from April 27th to May 17th. Please see the Lobby receptionist to view the documents.

This course will allow students two new unique STEM pathway credential options and will be part of the Virtual Instruction Program. The offering of Statistical Reasoning will also allow all students open access to an introductory statistics course without the weight of any dual enrollment criteria. The committee met and recommended adoption of the text "Stats in Your World" to be utilized with this course offering.
High School ELA
The High School ELA Instructional Materials committee recommended the adoption of Springboard materials and four ancillary grammar books to be used in English classrooms. The materials are for grades 9-12.
