The Personnel Department is the gateway to Calcasieu Parish School Board employment. Our team works diligently to support Building Foundations for the Future in Calcasieu Parish. Led by Mr. Robert Barrentine, Chief Operating Officer, we are committed to recruiting, building relationships, and retaining our employees who all have a vital role in our students’ success. 

The CPSB Personnel Department facilitates hiring, employee leaves, teacher certification, payroll records, evaluation records, statistical financial reports, and E.E.O.C. and O.C.R. inquiries. 

Office hours are weekdays 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and we are closed 12–12:45 pm.
