Technology Training Center

The Calcasieu Parish School Board’s Technology Training Center works collaboratively with the district’s Curriculum and Instruction Department and McNeese State University in an effort to assist administrators, teachers and students with the relevant integration of technology into a content-rich curriculum.

CPSB provides teachers and students with a wide array of technological tools that are designed to be integrated into the curriculum so that student achievement is positively impacted. The goal of integrating technology into the curriculum is to link software, media, and technology tools with specific instructional objectives in ways that facilitate teaching and learning. Integration is defined by the how and why the technology is being used. 

Booking a Trainer allows teachers the opportunity to schedule a 15-minute virtual meeting to gain support on any of the technological resources supported by the CPSB Technology Training Center. For each trainer, a list of available support is provided. To schedule a meeting, click on their picture and book your time. You will be sent an email and calendar item to confirm your meeting.
