Community Connections
Facilitate classes for the community to improve digital literacy
 


Digital Citizenship
Develop digital citizenship skills inside the classroom and beyond

Collaborate with McNeese State University's Burton College of Education to support McNeese student educational technology integration throughout their Residency I and II semesters


Facilitator Support
Provide schools and teachers with 1:1 support in the form of school visits and virtual bookings with Technology Facilitators


Gadget Checkout
Support curriculum and extend learning objectives to include 21st century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity by providing CPSB classrooms the opportunity to checkout a variety of tech gadgets


IMPACT
Collaborate with CPSB C&I  and support teachers with meaningful technology integration to advance quality education through technology-connected learning


ITEC
Provide CPSB educators with differentiated and individualized edtech professional development and the opportunity to develop leadership skills


Makerspace Experience Field Trips
Provide teachers with the opportunity to work with Technology Facilitators and customize a field trip experience in our Makerspace Lab


Mobile Makerspace Bus Visits
Provide teachers with the opportunity to work with Technology Facilitators and customize a Mobile Makerspace bus school visit


New Teacher Academy (NTA)
Support new CPSB teachers with educational technology professional development


PD Requests
Provide customized educational technology professional development by request


POP-UP PD
Share tips and resources with teachers on printed flyers delivered to their school mailboxes


Student Challenges
Provide teachers with the opportunity to have their students participate in a variety of student challenges facilitated by Technology Facilitators


Tech Camp
A Technology Department project that provides students with the opportunity to participate in a summer camp to develop their digital literacy skills


Tech Con
A Technology Department project that facilitates a regional conference for educators to have the opportunity to network and learn from others with an interest in educational technology


Tech Classes & Events
Support the integration of educational technology through the facilitation of a variety of professional development events like webinars and face-to-face trainings


Tech Handouts & Videos
Maintain and provide a central hub for a curated collection of resources to assist with the integration of technology in CPSB
