Students across the district can participate in a series of Minecraft Challenges designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. These challenges, hosted in a dedicated Minecraft Canvas course, focus on critical aspects of life which allow students to explore real-world concepts through the engaging platform of Minecraft Education Edition.
Students may participate individually or as part of a team in either the Elementary or Middle/High Division. This district-wide challenge is open to all students enrolled in the Calcasieu Parish School Board District.
These challenges can be completed in the classroom when instructional time and curriculum permit, or at home as an independent project within the Minecraft Education platform.
The Krewe de Minecraft Challenge has started and will run until February 27, 2026.
