CPSB Sphero Challenge Competition

 

The CPSB Sphero Challenge Competition is an exciting virtual event that brings together students from PreK to 8th grade to showcase their programming, engineering, and teamwork skills. This competition inspires creativity and innovation, allowing students to engage in fun and challenging activities that enhance their computational thinking and problem-solving abilities. 


The competition is held once per school year and features three categories: 

  1. Sphero indi

  • Age Brackets: Early Elementary (Ages 4-8) 

  1. Sphero BOLT/BOLT+ 

  • Age Brackets: Upper Elementary (Ages 8-11), Middle School (Ages 11-14) 

  1. Sphero RVR
  • Age Brackets: Early Elementary (Ages 4-8), Middle School (Ages 11-14) 

The winning teams from each event will advance to Sphero's Global Challenge, where they will compete with teams from around the world.
