  • CPSB Librarian of the Year

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Ferguson for being named CPSB's Elementary Librarian of the year! Ferguson is Calcasieu’s Elementary Librarian of the Year, as well as the overall winner for the parish. She originally planned to be a lawyer, but changed her mind and returned to school. After teaching for several years, she shifted to the library and that’s where she’s been for 18 years. We are lucky to have her here at Dolby!

  • MSU Observers - Welcome to Dolby!

Included here is a list of teachers who are willing to have observers in their classrooms. You must email the teachers before beginning your observations and schedule with them what days/times/subjects you will be observing. This will ensure that you observe what you need and that the teachers are aware of your visit. You will need to bring a print out of the email verifying that you have made these arrangements with the teachers before being allowed into the classrooms. These are necessary steps to ensure the safety of our students and staff while maximizing instructional time. Thank you for choosing Dolby Elementary for your pre-service observations! (Click the link for the list of teachers and their email addresses.)
