Louisiana Association of School Administrators of Federally Assisted Programs - $1000 - Two scholarships for students majoring in education, two for students majoring in any other field. Click here for application.
Healthcare Leaders Scholarship - $1000 - The Healthcare Leaders Scholarship is offered to students entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine. Click HERE for application.
Al’s Formal Wear Scholarship - $1000 value, apply at www.alsformalwear.com/SchoolApp. Must write and turn in an essay on assigned topic.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority - Must write essay; have 3 letters of recommendation; other considerations are academic performance/ACT score, financial need and community service. Value: $2000. 1 student in Calcasieu, Cameron, Jeff Davis, or Allen parish will be chosen.
Kids Chance of LA Scholarship – Must be a dependent of a worker killed or totally disabled in an accident that is compensable under a state or federal Workers’ Compensation Act or law; financial need. Awards vary from $500 – 3000.
LANtec of Louisiana’s Brian Bordelon Memorial Scholarship – applicant must have experience with computers; ACT score; complete application packet. Award is computer training worth $9000. One is being awarded in Louisiana. Submit app in counselor’s office.
Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association Youth Scholarship – Must be a son or daughter of an active duty law enforcement officer or Fire Service personnel. Must write an essay on an assigned topic. $500 – 1000 awarded. Apps available at www.llssa.org.

H & H Chemicals Education Scholarship - $1,000 One-Time Award to two high school students. The scholarships will be paid to the students upon receiving documentation of the students’ college registration.
Calcasieu-Cameron Students with Orthopedic Disabilities Scholarship - Available for students from Calcasieu or Cameron Parish who have orthopedic disabilities (must be verified by a physician) and plan to attend McNeese in the Fall.
Hoffoss Devall Scholarship - $2000 to graduating seniors who will attend a two-year to five year institution in Louisiana. Applicants must create a short video or submit an essay. Click HERE for details and instructions.
National Pan-Hellinic Council of Lake Charles - Book stipend of $1000. Must have 2.5 GPA and a 20 on the ACT.
Westlake Rotary Club Scholarship - $1000. No GPA requirement. Based on participation in school and community activities.

Athletic Scholarships and Awards
Each applicant must show ample evidence that he/she is capable of succeeding at the college level (must send a copy of the high school transcript, GPA, rank in class, ACT, or SAT scores). There will be no discrimination as to sex, race, creed or nationality. These scholarships, in addition to other grants or financial aid such as scholarships, loans, grants or work-study cannot exceed the total cost of the educational expenses for one school year.
State Farm Insurance
State Farm Insurance awards ten (10) $1,000 scholarships to student-athletes in the following sports who have earned at least a 3.5 GPA.
Male: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track & Field and At Large
Female: Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Track & Field and At Large
J.C. Fodale Energy Services awards two (2) $2,500 scholarships; one male and one female, to student-athletes graduating from an LHSAA member school and in pursuit of a business degree with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA.
Piccadilly Restaurants awards two (2) $2,500 scholarships; one male and one female. These scholarships are awarded only to student-athletes attending LSU in Baton Rouge in the College of Education as an education major.
Musemeche Photography awards two (2) $1,000 scholarships to underprivileged student-athletes attending a university in the state of Louisiana; one male and one female.
James E. “ Big Fuzzy” and Ellis A. “Little Fuzzy” Brown award two (2) $1,500 scholarships to student-athletes attending a university in the state of Louisiana.
The Louisiana High School Coaches Association awards four (4) $1,000 scholarships to qualified and deserving high school graduates; two males and two females. All applicants must be the son, daughter or legally adopted child of a member of the LHSCA. All applicants must be nominated by a current or past member of the LHSCA, and applications must be signed by current school Principal. Said member must have belonged to the LHSCA for the 5 years just prior to the submission of the scholarship application. Children of deceased members are eligible to apply if member belonged to the LHSCA for five years just prior to death.
**All scholarships will be due at the beginning of May and the winners will be recognized during the LHSCA Coaching Clinic in July.**
