BETA This is a National Organization that promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. To be eligible, a student must have at least a 3.0 GPA, be a positive role model, and exhibit positive character traits. A delegation attends District, State, and National Conventions where they compete in academic, talent, and leadership competitions. Stefanie Cooley

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) The Future Business Leaders of America is an organization that both helps students develop competent, aggressive business leadership and increases interest in, and understanding of American business enterprise. The club meets regularly to conduct business and participates in the district leadership conference. The group is affiliated with both the national and state FBLA organizations. Dustin Royer

Library Club The DHS library club is affiliated with the Louisiana Teen-aged Librarians Association. The club meets regularly to discuss books and perform library related duties. The group attends the Louisiana Book Festival each November as well as the LTLA conference in February. Laura Manuel
Honor Society DHS Honor Society serves to honor juniors and seniors who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. To be a member, students must maintain a 3.5 GPA. Erin Christerson
