    WLCO stands for We Love College Oaks. Each school term, fifth graders audition to be an anchor for the morning news. The news is broadcast throughout the school Monday-Friday from 7:50-8:00. The anchors read the lunch menu for the day, the announcements, give the word of the week which is defined and demonstrated in sign language, and names the staff and students who have birthdays on that day.
