The Spanish Immersion program was established at Frasch Elementary 30 years ago and continues to achieve academically. Students are eligible for the program by testing into the program in the spring before the student starts kindergarten. The program is based on a strong hold on academics by maintaing a high GPA and fluency in the spanish language. As a school, we are currently working towards becoming fully accreditted as a Spanish Immersion school through the Louisiana Department of Education.
We are proud of continually producing students that are fluent in the Spanish language and continue through the Immersion program at WW Lewis Middle School and Sulphur High School. Upon graduation from high school students are eligible for earning a Seal of Biliteracy on their high school diploma from the Louisiana Department of Education.
If interested in the program or want to know more about the program please feel free to call the school for more information.
We are excited to announce that this year we are celebrating our 30th year of the Spanish Immersion program. This is one of the oldest programs in the State. We are also very proud of having received the State Immersion Accreditation for our school. As we move forward, we will continue to strive for excellence in education in our program.
