SWLA STRONG ESSSAY CONTEST
For a chance to earn points for your team, write in essay of 600 words in which you define what it means to be "SWLA STRONG". Personal experience is encouraged.
Deadline is November 29th, given to your English Teacher. It may be typed or handwritten, but do not put your name on the essay. Instead, have a cover shet attached with your name, grade level, and school name.
Along with points for your team, grand prize winner of the parish will be an iPad, along with gift cards for each grade level winner.
McNeese will host multiple ACT test dates in October:
Saturday, October 10
Saturday, October 17
Saturday, October 24
Sunday, October 25
To take advantage of these dates you MUST register by Monday, October 5th!
There are no late fees or late registration options.
The ACT is required for TOPS and McNeese admission. High school juniors and seniors are strongly urged to test in October, especially if they missed previous test dates due to COVID-19.
The test will be held in the McNeese Recreation Sports Complex at the intersection of Vernon Drive and Vermillion Drive. Students must bring their own mask or face covering and follow all directions provided by ACT for registration, identification, check-in, and related testing matters.
