Madame Janice Patton was born in Canada where she attended French Immersion schools. She completed her post secondary education at the University of Ottawa and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in French & English.  Thereafter, she completed a Bachelor of French Education at Université Ste-Anne in Nova Scotia, Canada. She moved to Lake Charles in 1997 and began teaching French Immersion at Barbe High in 1999. She currently teaches French Immersion IV, V/AP and French I.
