Hi! My Name is Melissa Goss! I will be your child’s 4th grade ELA & Social Studies teacher for this school year! I just wanted to share a little bit about myself. I was born in Houston, Texas, but I moved to Ragley, Louisiana when I was 9 years old. I attended South Beauregard Elementary, Junior High and High School. I graduated high school in 2003! I then went to McNeese State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, where I was a cum laude honor graduate. Go pokes! I have taught 4th grade ELA for almost my entire teaching career, and I am very passionate about teaching reading and writing skills. I have twin girls named Emery and Macy and a miniature weenie dog named Lou. I absolutely love being a teacher, and I am excited to make this year the best year yet!
