  • The primary purpose for IMPACT (Integrating Meaningful Practices Aligned with Curriculum and Technology) technology professional development, a grant of the Calcasieu Parish School System, is to assist teachers in seamless technology integration to advance quality education through technology-connected learning.

    During this annual training, teachers experience professional development based on grade-level and curriculum standards, differentiated instruction, collaborative lesson planning, and the application of relevant technology to support student achievement. Teachers learn technology integration strategies and technology resources readily available to them in the classroom. Upon completion of the training, teachers receive technology and access to curriculum-based, standards-supported resources.
