The CITGO Innovation Academy at E. K. Key Elementary will lay the foundation for future success with a STEM integrated curriculum. Students will have opportunities for hands-on learning, development of problem-solving skills using scientific inquiry, and student collaboration through the implementation of the engineering design process. There are 24 spots available in Kindergarten. There are limited spots available in grades 1st-5th grade. Please contact the school for details. Students in the Academy will be part of the E. K. Key School campus, participating with other students in enrichment, recess, lunch, field trips, and assemblies. Extended Day Care will be available before and after school hours, however registration is separate.

Students have opportunities to learn robotics, coding, and participate in engineering design challenges. Along with support from CPSB, other partners include CITGO, the McNeese Engineering Department, the McNeese Education Department, and Sowela Technical Community College.

Registration information will be available on the school’s website and social media pages.
