    Enrichment Food Science

    6th and 7th Grade:

    Monday: no school

    Tuesday: composition Books needed—glue in lab rules, have students sign, glue in common kitchen equivalents—vocab words in yellow book pages 259 and page 265 copy and define-graded assignment

    Wednesday: Glue in lab safety and sanitation procedures –glue in how to measure power point into comp. Book—begin to go over all things glued with classes and take questions.

    Thursday: Kitchen scavenger hunt—in food lab students will be given a list of kitchen utensils and equipment to find and place on table—they will also have to tell me something that each utensil and equipment may be used for in the kitchen.  Graded assignment

    Friday:  Measuring demo lab—students will learn how to and exhibit how to properly measure sugar, flour, brown sugar and colored water—graded with aid of rubric

     

    8th grade Food Science:

    Monday:  no school

    Tuesday: History of Fashion Powerpoint research worksheets—students will be researching top fashion influencers, trends, colors, musicians/song, historical events from different decades/specific years.

    Wed. -Friday:  students will be given their specific year and given the powerpoint rubric outline guide –they will used their research to create an 11 slide History of fashion powerpoint that they will upload to canvas and be review by me and 2 of their peers.
