  • 2017-2018 Accountability Scores

    The overall Calcasieu district performance score of 79.5 exceeded predictions by 1.8 points and categorized the district as a “B” district for 2017-2018. Calcasieu had 35 of 57 schools that showed growth in their school performance scores over simulated expectations. Eighty-six (86) percent of the district’s students are in A, B, or C schools. Once again, six of eleven high school/combination schools obtained A letter grades. Also, for the first time in Calcasieu Parish, all eleven of these schools obtained C or higher grades.   • Louisiana Caring Communities Youth Survey

    During the period of November 1-17, 2018, the students in grades 8, 10, and 12 in our school district are taking part in an important survey on substance abuse, school dropout, delinquency, and violence conducted by the Picard Center at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. The survey is called the Louisiana Caring Communities Youth Survey. View the Survey
