  • 2020-2021 Return to School Plan

    School Plans for the 2020-21 school year can be viewed by clicking on Read Full Story. There are two options: Face-to-face and Virtual Online. The enrollment period for the Connected Classroom for 2020-2021 school year will be open July 08 – July 17, 2020. Please review all options carefully. Application for Connected Classroom may be completed by clicking on the form under LAGRANGE ANNOUNCEMENTS.

  • School Spirit Shirts

    School Spirit Tees may be pre-purchased online or during registration. Spirit Shirts prices are as followed: Short Sleeve $12, Long Sleeve $15, Hoodie $20. Fours colors are available.

  • LaGrange 2020-21 Registration Information

    All students are encouraged to pay registration fees and order t-shirts online. Online School Payments will be open July 6- July 27. Students that pay online will be able to come to registration during designated time and pick up Schedules, ID’s, Spirit shirts, and Parking Tags. Students who do not pay online should report during grade level registration (Aug 3rd - Aug 6th). Fees and other items may only be purchased with cash or money order.   • New Principal: Mrs. Monica Guillory

    LaGrange High School will be under new leadership next year, as Mrs. Monica Guillory takes over as principal. Mrs. Guillory is an experienced administrator on all levels and is knowledgeable of current school data and trends. She has a clear passion for Visual and Performing Arts and presented a plan to lead and grow LaGrange in all facets. Mrs. Guillory plans to refine existing committees and develop new ones that will address school improvement, and she comes with a communication plan that involves all stakeholders. Welcome to the Swamp, Mrs. Guillory!

  • Happy Retirement, Mr. Baynes!

    Our Principal, Mr. Samuel Baynes, is retiring after 20 years in the field of education. Mr. Baynes is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but has lived in Lake Charles for the last 20 years. Before joining the field of education, he was the Vice President of Alcoa Engineering Products. Mr. Baynes wanted a chance to make a difference in the lives of youth, so he became an educator. He taught at Lake Charles Boston, and then moved to LaGrange High School. During his time in education, he taught Social Studies for five years; then became an Administrator. When asked what he plans to do during retirement, he stated “I plan to stay involved and help the community in the field of education through consulting, running for school board, and also playing some golf.” Best wishes to Mr. Baynes on your retirement!

  • Recovery Icontracts and Credit Recovery through Odysseyware

    Students who failed the 1st or 2nd nine weeks or 1st semester are eligible for Grade or Credit Recovery. Students should enter into an agreement with their teacher for Grade Recovery I-contracts. visit their school counselor, or stop by Mrs Evans office (room 217) for signup and information. This recovery is FREE. All is needed is determination and commitment from YOU.
