    End of Nine Weeks and Report Cards

    End of the 2nd nine weeks is Jan 9th. Report cards will be issued on Jan 17th. Parents and Students can check their grades through jcampus (A+ icon). If you don't know your username or password, please stop by the counselors' office or Mrs. Evans. In addition, all excuses for attendance should be brought in AP office no later than 3 days after missed days.

    School Wide Practice ACT Exam: Feb 10th

    Reminder: Practice ACT for ALL LAGRANGE STUDENTS (Including T&I) will be Feb 10th. Please make sure you bring your CHARGED LAPTOP to school this ENTIRE WEEK. Students will report to homeroom at 7:36 am Thursday morning.

    Tutoring Begins Jan 9th!

    Afterschool tutoring program this Monday, January 9, 2023. Tutoring we be from 3:15 till 4:15 Monday through Thursday weekly until March 30, 2023. We will provide snacks and transportation for the students. All students are encouraged and asked to attend afterschool tutoring.

    WorkKeys Exam: Mandatory for ALL Seniors

    Work keys will be Jan 19th - 23rd for all seniors. Student will need laptops. Rosters will be posted next week. Scoring silver or higher earns TOPS Tech Scholarship, even for CTU students! Those seniors who score Silver or Higher will be recognized at graduation.

    Attendance Recovery: Fall Session

    Attendance Recovery will begin on Jan 23rd - Mar 10th. Students who have been denied credit due to attendance will have the opportunity to make up their hours. Deny of Credit can be found on the student report card by a denote of a *F (star F). Attendance Recovery begins promptly at 3:15 pm and ends at 5:15 pm. Transportation is NOT PROVIDED. Students should report to Lab 201 and 202 for daily sign in. This is not a "POP IN" event. All TIME and MONEY is due by Mar 10th. You may begin recovery and pay before the deadline.     Town Hall Meeting FEB 4th

    All parents, students, and community friends are invited to our 3rd town hall meeting for this school year.     January- Teacher of the Month!

    Congratulations to our Teacher of the Month Mrs. Shantel Viltz! Mrs. Viltz is a LaGrange graduate. Her degree is in Human Service Management & she attained her Master of Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. Before teaching, she served as a 911 Dispatcher and worked as a Case Manager in region 5. Mrs. Viltz began teaching English at LaGrange High School in 2019. She believes that building a lasting, respectful relationship with her students will lead them to make better decisions in the future and it shows. She loves spending time with her son, Jeremiah, and lives by this quote from Maya Angelou “If you’re always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be”.
