  • Walk & Wag for One Health

    Come on out to the “Walk & Wag for One Health” on November 2nd and celebrate One Health Day @ the Grove! We will kick off the day at 9am with a 3K for you and your dog!! After you take your dog for a walk with your friends, head on over to the Kid Zone, Dog Zone, and Education Zone. At the Kid Zone there will be face painting, a bounce house, petting area, and balloon animals! At the Dog Zone have fun at the “Smooch your Pooch photo booth” and enter the best Dog Trick and Best Dog Costume Contests. Look for your favorite Veterinarian and a few surprise guests at the Education Zone where you can learn more about One Health- the connection of human, animal, and environmental health and how it affects us all! Don’t have a dog? Don’t worry! Sulphur Animal Control will be there with dogs you can take for a walk and even adopt! The cost is $25 for people and $15 for dogs for the 3K. Register online before October 13th at LouisianaOneHealthInAction.org. Look for the posters hanging around school or stop by the library for more information.

  • Homecoming T-Shirt

    Freshman homecoming shirts are on sale until September 27th! You can purchase by paying online or pick an envelope up outside room 9125, fill it out, and drop off to Mrs. Landry during your lunch.

  • Homecoming Dance Tickets

    Homecoming dance tickets will go on sell today online. The tickets are $10 per person and you must get approval from administration to bring someone that is not a SHS freshman from this campus. There will be an opportunity to purchase tickets on campus from Monday, September 30 – Friday October 11. You must purchase your tickets prior to the dance. You will not be allowed into the dance without a ticket and tickets will not be sold at the door.

  • Interested in traveling to Japan?

    Interested in visiting the Land of the Rising Sun? Mr. Clark is planning a student trip to Japan in June 2021. The tour will visit several Japanese including the cities of Kyoto, Tokyo and Hiroshima. There will be a parent interest meeting on Tuesday, September 24th at 6:30PM in the Sulphur 9th Grade Library. If you would like more information about going to Japan in June 2021, come by Mr. Clark’s room in 9207.

  • Important Information for Parents

    CPSB has changed the way that parents must sign off on the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for students. It is imperative that this verification is done by October 1, 2016. After October 1, your child may lose the ability to login to a computer at school. All End of Course (EOC) testing is given on the computers. If you have not already set up a Student Progress Center account to check your child's grades, please do so as soon as possible.     HomeworkLouisiana offers FREE online tutoring and academic resources from Tutor.com for Louisiana residents from kindergarten students through adult learners. A link to HomeworkLa is available by clicking on the Student tab above. Get help in math, science, social studies or English from a live tutor. The services can be accessed from a Louisiana public library, from your home computer or from your mobile device. The live homework help is available Sunday-Thursday from 2pm-10pm.
