October is Financial Aid Awareness month and it is also the opening of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSAMUST be filled out prior to graduation or a waiver must be filed with the school board office in order for students to graduate. The FAFSA is the only way a student can recieve TOPS, grants or any other type of federal money.
In the event you do NOT wish to fill out the FAFSA, please sign the Opt Out form that is located in the link above.
Below are two helpful links. The first is an address to the official FAFSA page which will answer many of your questions and the Senior Checklist is a great tool to make sure you are on track. Don't stress that you are behind, there is still plenty of time to complete the FAFSA!

ZOOM FINANCIAL AID/FAFSA MEETING!!
The traditional face-to-face financial aid/FAFSA meeting that is normally presented has been changed to a Zoom meeting due to Covid concerns. Letters have been mailed out to all seniors and parents with the following link to the meeting. It will be at 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 27th and you can log in from your home. You can use phones, iPads, laptops or desktops to access the meeting.
